Lisa Helbig, the owner and creator of ITM since its inception, has also been instrumental in the development of other massage and aesthetician schools (both before and after opening ITM), massage based curriculums, hospital based massage programs, community / charity based outreach, CEU based videos, and a book on hot stone massage. ITM has operated multiple massage therapy school locations in New Jersey for more than 10 years, has over 40 staff and adjunct trainers, and has also been active in several of the massage organizations that operate nationwide. Through these activities, we have developed strategic relationships that allow us to provide a number of services to both the massage therapy and general community-at-large upon request. This includes on and off-site training, program, curriculum and treatment plan development, corporate and charity based events, and the supply of massage and spa therapy products. Training With over 40 staff instructors, and a number of adjunct trainers, ITM is available to come to your spa or treatment facility to do staff development. We have also been hired to design new spa and massage treatment protocols based on the latest research and market trends. A number of regional spas, chiropractors, and other professional organizations have consistently sent their massage and spa practitioners to our school to continue their education and learn new treatment modalities. Program and Curriculum Development Having developed the entire curriculum for all four of our programs in-house (Massage and Bodywork, Eastern Bodywork – Shiatsu, Massage & Personal Training, and Medical Massage), our curriculum development team is available to do the same type of work for your organization.
