MyCAA - Military Spouse Progam

On September 10, 2009, the Office Of The Under Secretary Of Defense released a memorandum for schools and credentialing organizations titled The Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) Program. In it, The Department of Defense (DoD) details a program where up to $6,000.00 of Financial Assistance is offered to military spouses who are seeking licenses, certifications and academic degree credentials needed for employment in Portable Career fields.

As a school that qualifies to participate in this program, Institute for Therapeutic Massage (ITM) applied, and was accepted to be able to offer portable careers to military spouses. We have attached the document for your review, and ask that you read the MyCAA School User Manual, which begins on page 3. In it, you will learn about the Program Sponsor, Eligibility Rules, what fees qualify to be paid, how the program works, how to apply, and more.
