Student Membership to the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) is included as part of the Books and Supplies package that every student receives upon enrollment. Membership offers Professional Liability Insurance coverage, a membership certificate and card, members-only newsletter, Touch Training Directory and much more. Upon graduation, students may upgrade to a higher membership level with a credit of $49 towards that level (subject to the terms of the ABMP).
Successful completion of this program qualifies students to sit for the National Certification Examination (NCE), offered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), and for membership in other national professional associations such as the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the International Massage Association (IMA).
